FANTASTIC WORLD OF THE BLACK SEA REGION FOR YOUNG CHERNOBYL CITIZENS

Forty-four treasured vouchers to a children's health camp in the sunny resort of Zhelezny Port were received by young Chernobyl survivors from Ovruch, Narodichi, Bucha, Vyshgorod, Korchevok, Zyaskov, Selets and Kyiv. Almost all children saw the sea for the first time, which they owe to benefactors from the Chernobyl Children's Fund of Japan.
“This is a wonderful place, like a fairy-tale world from a children's book, completely different from the outside world,” 12-year-old from Kiev Marianna Sineokaya did not hide her delight.
“Here we actively and interestingly spent time in various games, swimming in the sea, drawing and modeling lessons,” added Anna Storozhenko, an eleven-year-old Narodite resident.
