April 26, 2009, the International Charitable Foundation "Children of Chernobyl for Survival" held a charity event "Twenty Third Flaming Spring" in the House of Armed Forces of Ukraine within the framework of the Action Plan at the state level related to the XXIIIth anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster .
At 13.00 a small art exhibition was opened in the small conference hall, where paintings from artistic straws and art works of wood from the young masters of the Ovruch Small Academy of Folk Arts and Crafts in the Zhytomyr Region were shown.
At 14.00, People's Deputy of Ukraine, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergey Pashinsky and the president of the International Charitable Foundation "Children of Chernobyl for Survival" Lyudmila Zakrevska came to the Crimean House of Officers. Sergey Pashinsky appealed to all Chernobyl residents present in the hall, wishing them health, abundance and all sorts of goodness. He delivered a valuable gift to President of the Association of Christian Affairs (Spain) Diego Suarez Mora and the Honorable Diploma of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Chairman of the Chornobyl Children's Fund of Japan, Suzumur Minor, thanking him for the many years of charitable work for the benefit of Chernobyl children.
Lyudmila Zakrevska invited the president of the Kyiv Motorbike Club Crazy Hohols, Sergei Pidmigilny, to present the multimedia equipment kits to the pupils of schools number 1 and number 2 of Ovruch city, assigned to the zone of enhanced radiological control.
The concert was a great concert in which the National Presidential Orchestra and Laureates of the All-Ukrainian Festival "Song Garden" Artyom Kondratyuk, Anna Tikha, Irina Roskulets, Alina Bashkina and vocal ensemble "Kyiv Nightingales" took part. In the final, all the participants of the concert, together with the audience, inspiredly performed the Ukrainian anthem "God's Great One, Save Us Ukraine".
