The last decade of June, Singing Italy hospitably met laureates of the All-Ukrainian Festival of Children's Creativity "Song Garden", launched by the International Charity Fund "Chernobyl Children for Survival". Sprignolosi asterisks of Ukraine responded to the invitation of the association "Cento Viladzhy" to take part in the X Festival of pop song "Sintonia". Moreover, this artistic holiday was roared in the picturesque Cesano Maderno - a kind of Italian Versailles in miniature.
From the very first moment our young vocalists fascinated the fastidious Apennines public. And most of all, the youngest participant of the Ukrainian song parade, who had not yet reached the age of 12, took a great interest in the audience and therefore performed outside the competition. Rozburhaniy, like a beehive, the room fell in love with the little Donetkan Nikita Semenikhin with his incendiary "Gutsulyanka" and Alina Bashkin, who tore up the music lovers with the vocal-choreographic composition "Gray Caesar". And when on stage came neishishnets Oleg Zaritsky with the Italian hit "Funicular", the walls of the palace "Barameo" trembled with a storm of applause. "So inspired and heartfelt in Italy they sang only in the distant 60-70s of the last century," exclaimed the Mayor of Cesano Maderno, Paolo Vagi, impressed by the wonderful a cappella vocal of the 11-year-old "Ukrainian singing".
The real furore awaited and on the top five young Ukrainians, included in the official application of the festival. The jury noted the third prize was the dandy Anna Tihuyu with her lyrical "Nightingale Moment" and Marichka Goshovsky from Chernivtsi, who presented our folklore pearl "The Pile of Plaques" to all. The second prize was the duet of Cristina and Taras Prisyazhnyuk with the superhit of Vladimir Ivasiuk "Only once does love blossom" in modern arrangements. Nobody left indifferent and the folk song "In Dubina", which captivated the hearts of the audience, the laureate of the main prize of the jubilee festival "Sintonia" - charming bilocerci waiter Veronica Martynchuk.
During their stay in the Italian land, young Ukrainians met with the cities of Monza, Brianza and Brescia, made an excursion to the children's entertainment center "Gardaland", discovered the "Queen of the Adriatic" - Venice. Our delegation also visited the Church of the Holy Face of Jesus in Milan, which unites the Ukrainian community there. During the meeting with fellow countrymen who now live in Italy, a series of photographs "Children of the Orange Maidan" was donated to the priest of the church, Alexander Lisovskaya. The final concert of the cultural program was a concert of laureates of the "song garden", which was held on June 28 in Milan. Its participants and spectators were welcomed by the Consul General of Ukraine in this city Vasily Shvets.
President of the International Charity Fund "Children of Chernobyl for Survival" Lyudmila Zakrevskaya, who headed our delegation in Italy, expressed her sincere gratitude to the association "Cento Vilagio" and its leader Vincenzo Basilico, who took care of the young artists. "We hope that a good undertaking will have a worthy continuation," Mrs. Zakrevskaya summed up. - Next year we are waiting for young Italian performers at our festival "Song Garden". Only through joint efforts can we realize all plans for the sake of the future child - cultural, educational, health-improving. "
Within five days, a delegation from the Association of Christian Affairs of Gibralon, headed by its president, Diego Suarez Mora, was present at the invitation of the International Charitable Foundation "Children of Chernobyl for Survival" in Kyiv for five days.
The Spanish delegation took part in events on the occasion of the XXIIth anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster. On April 26, during the commemorative celebrations in the Ukrainian House, Don Diego reported to the Chornobyl Auditorium on the achievements of the twenty years of cooperation of the Association of Christian Affairs with Ukraine and its further perspectives.
Spanish guests also held a series of meetings with schoolchildren in Malinsky, Ovruch and Naroditsky districts of Zhytomyr region.
